But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliazar Evar couldn't finish the play. Ventura Bartumeu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliazar Evar in the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute of the match Capo de Provincia got a corner. Plaza Babys CF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mark González ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Mark González got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ventura Bartumeu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 11 minutes into the match, Capo de Provincia's Omar Zamora sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ventura Bartumeu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Victorino Bachelet hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Plaza Babys CF's Moisés Martinez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ceandro Zumaeta. That made the score 1-0 after 20 minutes of play. Ceandro Zumaeta was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Moisés Martinez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Moisés Martinez really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Capo de Provincia's Ceandro Zumaeta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Capo de Provincia from getting a goal against them. In the 31st minute of the match Capo de Provincia got a corner. Plaza Babys CF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ceandro Zumaeta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Plaza Babys CF's Toni Adán got a free kick in the 36th minute. Ventura Bartumeu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliazar Evar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Capo de Provincia's Ronaldo Abrahamsohn was substituted for Mark González. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adolfo Caminero made a kick off. In the 54th match minute, Plaza Babys CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toni Adán to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Moisés Martinez in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ceandro Zumaeta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adolfo Caminero scored 3-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ceandro Zumaeta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ceandro Zumaeta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moisés Martinez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Toni Adán hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 68th match minute, Plaza Babys CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Porfiro Canal to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute, Casimiro Camus sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Plaza Babys CF's Ventura Bartumeu didn't even have to move. Capo de Provincia's Ceandro Zumaeta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Caminero in the 73rd minute of play. After having played for 76 minutes, Eliazar Evar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Capo de Provincia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliazar Evar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Magdaleno Magnasco was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 80 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Capo de Provincia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Moisés Martinez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Plaza Babys CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Moisés Martinez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ceandro Zumaeta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Isidro Armenta hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Plaza Babys CF had won after a very even match.
