Serbülent Baysan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucio Gabino, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After some careless play in the FC Anderlecht Huachipato defense, Qian Cheng Xing kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Serbülent Baysan. After a rather tough play, the xeneise dream team's Genaro Farias got a free kick in the 44th minute. Hernán Diaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the xeneise dream team were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Jose Maria Cossio kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. After some careless play in the FC Anderlecht Huachipato defense, Arda Ardashov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Serbülent Baysan. The FC Anderlecht Huachipato fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Serbülent Baysan should have stopped the shot. Habil Castolo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Serbülent Baysan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Serbülent Baysan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucio Gabino in the 59th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Lucio Gabino managed to get in a good position for a shot. the xeneise dream team's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucio Gabino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serbülent Baysan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Alberto-Federico Acosta was substituted for Baumar Ontanilla. Serbülent Baysan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucio Gabino in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Isaac Sundberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The the xeneise dream team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7. When the match was over the xeneise dream team could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Anderlecht Huachipato throughout the match.
