Bruno Norino hit a great ball. Horea Balint made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teta Grande in the 22nd minute. After 23 minutes Bar Marconi United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Celedonio Fonda who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Bar Marconi United's Davide Spadoni got a free kick in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrizio Adriano in the 29th minute of play forced Knight Of Dawn's goalkeeper Denis Urtats to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 32 minutes Bar Marconi United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Celedonio Fonda who took care of the corner kick. Fabrizio Adriano might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Denis Urtats. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. When Teta Grande came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Knight Of Dawn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teta Grande couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Many of Bar Marconi United's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Bar Marconi United may have spent more time on the ball, but Knight Of Dawn were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
