The ball had pretty good speed, but Cesare Varglien firmly grabbed it by the left post. Jens-Ola Lekberg kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Empo FF's goalkeeper Cesare Varglien had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sture Brogren. In the 14th minute, Algot Brandin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Huaröd's Tord Forsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Glad in the 17th minute of play. Tord Forsberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Spike Delamore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cesare Varglien made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sture Brogren in the 21st minute. Sture Brogren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Cesare Varglien made a huge save. Sture Brogren kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Empo FF's goalkeeper Cesare Varglien had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joar Valrot. With a little luck, Empo FF's Cesare Varglien got control of the ball when Algot Brandin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tord Forsberg came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Empo FF's Remigio Leoncio. But to his dismay, Remigio Leoncio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Cesare Varglien was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Joar Valrot capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Joar Valrot really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Strömbom in the 43rd minute of play forced Empo FF's goalkeeper Cesare Varglien to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Remigio Leoncio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tord Forsberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remigio Leoncio in the 47th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Kasper Johnsson hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Cesare Varglien took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefan Strömbom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cesare Varglien showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Algot Brandin in the 57th minute of the match. Remigio Leoncio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Tord Forsberg made a huge save. After 65 minutes Huaröd's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Isac Mellbad who took care of the corner kick. Tord Forsberg made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Remigio Leoncio sent off a good shot on target. Empo FF were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after Huaröd's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Isac Mellbad took the corner. After 70 minutes, Algot Brandin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Huaröd and the Empo FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Empo FF booed when Huaröd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Algot Brandin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfred Glad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tord Forsberg having to interfere. Cesare Varglien came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Huaröd's Sture Brogren. But to his dismay, Sture Brogren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Empo FF's Kasper Johnsson got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Remigio Leoncio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Tord Forsberg made a huge save. Algot Brandin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesare Varglien having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Empo FF's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Strömbom came free, but Cesare Varglien reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Huaröd fans cheered their team off the field, for while Empo FF had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
