An unexpectedly hard shot by Márk Kovács in the 11th minute of play forced La Scaloneta's goalkeeper Dibag Martinez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dibag Martinez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Sammut in the 13th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in La Scaloneta's zone, Márk Kovács stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dibag Martinez came out of the goal and Márk Kovács tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Márk Kovács took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dibag Martinez. Dibag Martinez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Dibag Martinez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Sammut in the 20th minute of play. Templars FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Márk Kovács in the 22nd minute. When Templars FC's Francileudo Faarø, in the 22nd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Templars FC. In the 26thth minute of the game Márk Kovács who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Scaloneta's Dibag Martinez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A throw-in in the 28th minute of the game was made by Giovani Lo Celso with Lion Messi as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Dibag Martinez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Sammut, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 36th minute, Templars FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lautaro Martinez fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. La Scaloneta's Dibag Martinez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Márk Kovács in the 38th minute of play. A collision led to La Scaloneta getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Giovani Lo Celso hit a great ball. Jonathan Sammut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Templars FC fans' excitement grew in the 48th match minute when Templars FC's Jonathan Sammut looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After the first half Templars FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lautaro Martinez to make the kick off. Jonathan Sammuts short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Dibag Martinez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 59 minutes into the match, Márk Kovács dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dibag Martinez, 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Márk Kovács in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dibag Martinez saved La Scaloneta from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Márk Kovács managed to get in a good position for a shot. Templars FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Márk Kovács was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dibag Martinez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. La Scaloneta made a substitution. Ángel-Fabián Di María replaced Leandro Paredes. Templars FC made a substitution. Ziya Onur Muzaffer replaced Adelino Marques. Templars FC's Benedict Cumberbatch was substituted for Joaquin Phoenix. 75 minutes into the match, Márk Kovács had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dibag Martinez. La Scaloneta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Márk Kovács was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. 79 minutes into the game, Templars FC's Jonathan Sammut nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dibag Martinez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Dibag Martinez made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Staffan Apelqvist sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, La Scaloneta's Dibag Martinez got control of the ball when Márk Kovács tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Scaloneta's goalkeeper Dibag Martinez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Staffan Apelqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Dibag Martinez made a huge save. In the 94th minute, Bonifacio Turri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Templars FC played a much better game than La Scaloneta and deserved their victory. The La Scaloneta players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
