The supporters of SinháCity FC booed when TibaDons was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pierce Gerrard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ian Emander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Levani Peru made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anier Eneko in the 24th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ian Emander got free with Levani Peru in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Cléber Santos fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SinháCity FC's protests and gave Cléber Santos a yellow card for diving instead. Cléber Santos hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the match, TibaDons's goal looked a bit too open when Kaare Strassmann came free, but Pepe Le Petit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Neymar Hulk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Per-Erik Öberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Levani Peru having to interfere. A collision led to SinháCity FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Eric Dahlbom hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anier Eneko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Levani Peru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierce Gerrard in the 52nd minute of play. If Váldson Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With 60 minutes on the clock, Uku Kosk commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 61st minute, Romulo Campello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. John Donnelly received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Levani Peru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ian Emander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Levani Peru having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Franco Baresi during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, SinháCity FC's Franco Baresi got a free kick in the 67th minute. SinháCity FC's Levani Peru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Bellomo in the 68th minute of play. In the 71st minute John Donnelly shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Levani Peru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. TibaDons's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Neymar Hulk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. 85 minutes into the match, SinháCity FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pierce Gerrard came free, but Levani Peru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. TibaDons were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after SinháCity FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dennis Bellomo took the corner. John Donnelly's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Levani Peru read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. In the 92nd minute, John Donnelly hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SinháCity FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
