The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Primitivo Orlandus lost his temper 12 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 12th minute, one of Club Atlethico Talleres:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Club Atlethico Talleres. After a rather tough play, Club Atlethico Talleres's Angel Kelemen got a free kick in the 17th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zacarias Qwinton during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 19 played minutes Devoto club social got a freekick which was hit by Zacarias Qwinton. Devoto club social's German Indalecio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiburcio Papo in the 25th minute of play. In the 29th minute Enzo Ganix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but German Indalecio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tiburcio Papo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mart Palermo kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. German Indalecio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiburcio Papo in the 33rd minute of the match. Tiburcio Papo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jonathan Tonete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 38 minutes, Fabio Domeka mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Devoto club social and the Club Atlethico Talleres players grew even worse after the yellow card. 40 minutes into the game, Tiburcio Papo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. German Indalecio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 47 minutes into the game, Gaby Batistuta recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nemesio Hotz. Gaby Batistuta showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Mart Palermo made the kick off in the second half. Devoto club social's German Indalecio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Devoto club social from getting a goal against them. If Tiburcio Papo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. German Indalecio made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Tiburcio Papo sent off a good shot on target. Tiburcio Papos short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got German Indalecio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. German Indalecio came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlethico Talleres's Tiburcio Papo. But to his dismay, Tiburcio Papo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Mart Palermo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th play minute Tiburcio Papo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised German Indalecio. 1-4. If Tiburcio Papo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Atlethico Talleres's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
