The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Markus Nordström in the 15th minute. A nice corner shot did that Markus Nordström got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonatan Enekoitz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Aage Hill could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Aaron Ramsdal made a huge save. Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Aage Hill scored to the left of an out of position Aaron Ramsdal, making the score, 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Monte Hermoso Beach's Aage Hill slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aaron Ramsdal. That made the score 2-0 after 23 minutes of play. Jonatan Enekoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Juračka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Monte Hermoso Beach's Aage Hill got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Monte Hermoso Beach's Jonatan Enekoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Juračka in the 33rd minute of play. Jonatan Enekoitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Juračka, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After having played for 39 minutes, Aage Hill managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monte Hermoso Beach's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aage Hill was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Monte Hermoso Beach's Hector Montrel was substituted for Aage Hill. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Monte Hermoso Beach's Siro Suarez was substituted for Fulgencio Pudes. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Torbjörn Berg to strike the kick off in the second half. Aaron Ramsdal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Montrel in the 56th minute of play. In the 59th minute Martin Juračka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Enekoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hector Montrel in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aaron Ramsdal saved Elmtaryd Agunnaryd from getting behind. A collision led to Monte Hermoso Beach getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Mauro Bizi hit a great ball. In the 71st minute, Martin Juračka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Monte Hermoso Beach were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Séamus Babasidis took the corner. The corner led Monte Hermoso Beach's Séamus Babasidis to fire away a dangerous shot which Aaron Ramsdal despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jonatan Enekoitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Juračka in the 77th minute of the match. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aaron Ramsdal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonatan Enekoitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jörgen Vikström's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. A beautiful save bye Monte Hermoso Beach's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Monte Hermoso Beach had won after a very even match.
