The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Esteban José Andrada came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by VB-Team's Joaquim de Barros. But to his dismay, Joaquim de Barros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 5th match minute, VB-Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Pellecchia to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute Eloy Aznar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Guansa's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim de Barros came free, but Esteban José Andrada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esteban José Andrada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Caeiro in the 15th minute of the match. Armindo Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloy Aznar in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Guansa's goalkeeper Esteban José Andrada had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joaquim de Barros. Aaron Sandalio took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armindo Salgado. Armindo Salgado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. A collision led to VB-Team getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Joaquim de Barros hit a great ball. After 24 minutes, Sandro Leitão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VB-Team and the Guansa players grew even worse after the yellow card. Anselmo Txilar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armindo Salgado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Esteban José Andrada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim de Barros in the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pompiliu Teofil in the 28th minute of play forced VB-Team's goalkeeper Armindo Salgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute Anselmo Txilar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind VB-Team's goalkeeper Armindo Salgado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Enzo Pellecchia kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Esteban José Andrada made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joaquim de Barros in the 39th minute. In the 42nd minute, Ildefonso Arixo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Esteban José Andrada was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Álvaro Rezende. 44 minutes into the match, Guansa's goalkeeper Esteban José Andrada had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joaquim de Barros. Pompiliu Teofil kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Esteban José Andrada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shao Kun Yuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eloy Aznar to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eloy Aznar got free with Armindo Salgado in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Guansa defense, Luís Caeiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Esteban José Andrada. The Guansa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Esteban José Andrada should have stopped the shot. In the 65th minute of the match Anselmo Txilar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Armindo Salgado showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. VB-Team made a substitution. Traian Hăvârneanu replaced Joaquim de Barros. Eloy Aznar kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervásio Severiano in the 78th minute of play forced Guansa's goalkeeper Esteban José Andrada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esteban José Andrada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Traian Hăvârneanu in the 80th minute of the match. Traian Hăvârneanu scored 3-1 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Esteban José Andrada, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Esteban José Andrada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Traian Hăvârneanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Esteban José Andrada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervásio Severiano in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute Gervásio Severiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban José Andrada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. VB-Team fully deserved thier win.
