Alcorcón were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Consejo del Mate's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nereo Acosta took the corner. Maurino Serena made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Vicente Santana sent off a good shot on target. Hugo Orlando Gatti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Belo Alvarez in the 11th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Belo Alvarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Orlando Gatti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maurino Serena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bolo Bolaño's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. 25 minutes into the match, A.D. Alcorcón's goalkeeper Maurino Serena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Javier Betadur. Erlantz Bermejo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hugo Orlando Gatti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Erlantz Bermejo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hugo Orlando Gatti was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vicente Santana got free with Maurino Serena in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maurino Serena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bolo Bolaño in the 33rd minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, A.D. Alcorcón's goal looked a bit too open when Bolo Bolaño came free, but Maurino Serena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santo Lorenz charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santo Lorenz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Santo Lorenz hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Vicente Santana took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maurino Serena. Maurino Serena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Maurino Serena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Betadur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maurino Serena made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Bolo Bolaño sent off a good shot on target. 47 minutes into the match, A.D. Alcorcón's Erlantz Bermejo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hugo Orlando Gatti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Consejo del Mate's Peyo Fonelleda was substituted for Vicente Santana. In the 54th minute of the match A.D. Alcorcón got a corner. Consejo del Mate's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nereo Acosta ran over to the corner to take the kick. 56 minutes into the match, A.D. Alcorcón's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Kemen came free, but Maurino Serena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bolo Bolaño in the 60th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bolo Bolaño in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maurino Serena saved A.D. Alcorcón from getting behind. 64 minutes into the match, A.D. Alcorcón's goal looked a bit too open when Peyo Fonelleda came free, but Maurino Serena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th match minute, A.D. Alcorcón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Vadillos to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to A.D. Alcorcón getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Esteban Vadillos hit a great ball. When Julio Kemen came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Consejo del Mate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julio Kemen couldn't finish the play. A.D. Alcorcón's Leroy Antunez was substituted for Belo Alvarez. A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Javier Betadur in the 84th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leroy Antunez got free with Hugo Orlando Gatti in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peyo Fonelleda in the 87th minute of play. After 89 played minutes A.D. Alcorcón got a freekick which was hit by Eusebio Quijana. Aquiles Cordero took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Maurino Serena. A.D. Alcorcón's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Leroy Antunez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hugo Orlando Gatti came out and tried to block the shot, but Leroy Antunez slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 92nd minute. After 96 minutes of play, A.D. Alcorcón's Leroy Antunez made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hugo Orlando Gatti was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle went the supporters of A.D. Alcorcón were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Consejo del Mate side.
