Denis Ifrim struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Wlodzimierz Cipinski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bajenland. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Ifrim in the 20th minute of play forced GAIS's goalkeeper Wlodzimierz Cipinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The shot was a little too simple and Wlodzimierz Cipinski could save by the left post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emilio Jakue to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Rudolf Nordstedt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Emil Hägg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 57th minute, Fresco Sesse left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bajenland fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 64th minute of the match GAIS got a corner. Bajenland's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Xamo Navarro ran over to the corner to take the kick. After having played for 68 minutes, Emilio Jakue managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GAIS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emilio Jakue was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
