Hartlepool's Åke Stål played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorio Aurken in the 7th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, FS Elite's Honorio Aurken sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Åke Stål narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, FS Elite's Tommy Falck got control of the ball when Ralf Rask tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Hartlepool getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Per-Oskar Kilberg hit a great ball. Bengt Blixt kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Hartlepool's Åke Stål played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorio Aurken in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute of the match FS Elite got a corner. Hartlepool's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adrian Albom ran over to the corner to take the kick. Åke Stål stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Honorio Aurken's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. In the 26th minute FS Elite were awarded a corner. Adrian Albom went to the cornerflag to take it. FS Elite's Adrian Albom was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Åke Stål in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 27th minute, Bengt Blixt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Honorio Aurken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Åke Stål didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kent Åkerström went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Du Lin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Åke Stål was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Åke Stål showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorio Aurken in the 41st minute of the match. After the first half FS Elite were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabian Fager was the one to do the kick off. With his leg Åke Stål managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when FS Elite's Honorio Aurken fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Honorio Aurkens short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Åke Stål to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Tommy Falck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Fager in the 64th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kent Åkerström got free with Åke Stål in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 67 minutes into the match, Hartlepool's goalkeeper Åke Stål had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kent Åkerström. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorio Aurken in the 70th minute of play forced Hartlepool's goalkeeper Åke Stål to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to FS Elite getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Honorio Aurken hit a great ball. FS Elite's Calle Lekberg was substituted for Du Lin. Kent Åkerström received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Åke Stål came out and tried to block the shot, but Kent Åkerström slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 75th minute. Hartlepool's Åke Stål played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorio Aurken in the 78th minute of play. Fabian Fager blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Falck having to make a save. In the 83rd minute, Bengt Blixt made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Falck. FS Elite's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. With an all-out effort, FS Elite's Åke Stål threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Honorio Aurken, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, Hartlepool's Åke Stål got control of the ball when Kent Åkerström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Honorio Aurken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The FS Elite players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
