With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gösta Lundberg in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Janne Katt saved Sonstorps Fotboll from getting behind. In the 7thth minute of the game Gösta Lundberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sonstorps Fotboll's Janne Katt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Sonstorps Fotboll's Osvald Lennartsson got a free kick in the 9th minute. Gösta Lundberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mike Cassar Torreggiani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Donostia in the 17th minute of the match. Janne Katt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gösta Lundberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Törnblom in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mike Cassar Torreggiani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Blåvitt's Gösta Lundberg was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Janne Katt in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Blåvitt's Mike Cassar Torreggiani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Törnblom in the 38th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Jonas Rosendahl struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Mike Cassar Torreggiani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sonstorps Fotboll. In the 59th match minute, Blåvitt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michel Lundberg to maneuver through the defense. When Blåvitt's Gösta Lundberg in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jørg Heichendorff blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mike Cassar Torreggiani having to make a save. Jesper Burman hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jørg Heichendorff got free with Mike Cassar Torreggiani in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Jørg Heichendorff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sonstorps Fotboll had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
