With a little luck, Di Röe's George Kristiansson got control of the ball when Emilio Jakue tried to sneak it across the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Emilio Jakue notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Di Röe's George Kristiansson. George Kristiansson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. George Kristiansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deng Le Jian, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Sten Melberg put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Wlodzimierz Cipinski. A collision led to GAIS getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Isaac Göransson hit a great ball. Herman Benett took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Wlodzimierz Cipinski. GAIS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sten Melberg in the 24th minute of play forced GAIS's goalkeeper Wlodzimierz Cipinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. GAIS's Wlodzimierz Cipinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sten Melberg in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Di Röe's goalkeeper George Kristiansson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emilio Jakue. Wlodzimierz Cipinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sten Melberg in the 36th minute of play. George Kristiansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvard Björling in the 37th minute of play. Sten Melberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wlodzimierz Cipinski having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sten Melberg to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sten Melberg got free with Wlodzimierz Cipinski in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of GAIS booed when Di Röe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leif Svanström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wlodzimierz Cipinski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edu Loss in the 56th minute. 57 minutes into the game, Sten Melberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Wlodzimierz Cipinski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sten Melberg scored 1-3 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wlodzimierz Cipinski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Di Röe's Knut Engström was substituted for Elliot Kellbom. Wlodzimierz Cipinski made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Arnaldo da Fonseca sent off a good shot on target. Arnaldo da Fonseca's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Wlodzimierz Cipinski firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 68th minute of the match, Arnaldo da Fonseca got a very nice opportunity to score, but Wlodzimierz Cipinski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Arnaldo da Fonseca's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 69thth minute, Wlodzimierz Cipinski skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edvard Björling in the 70th minute of play forced Di Röe's goalkeeper George Kristiansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Di Röe's George Kristiansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Jakue in the 72nd minute of play. In the 75th minute Deng Le Jian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Kristiansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Di Röe's George Kristiansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudolf Nordstedt in the 77th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Gerard Tan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wlodzimierz Cipinski. That made the score 1-4 in the 80 minute of play. Wlodzimierz Cipinski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Knut Engström went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. Wlodzimierz Cipinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Knut Engström in the 86th minute of play. Wlodzimierz Cipinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerard Tan, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. A collision led to GAIS getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Konrad Josefsson hit a great ball. Arnaldo da Fonseca took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wlodzimierz Cipinski. Wlodzimierz Cipinski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. When Di Röe's Knut Engström in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GAIS's goalie prevented a goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Di Röe had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
