Kristoffer Västerstrand was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Stefan Eriksson. 5 minutes into the match, Lidköping's goal looked a bit too open when Örjan Johansson came free, but Kristoffer Västerstrand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kristoffer Västerstrand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Örjan Johansson in the 19th minute of play. In the 31stth minute of the game Stefan Bogren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Blåvitt's Mike Cassar Torreggiani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Stefan Bogren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gösta Lundberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristoffer Västerstrand having to interfere. Mike Cassar Torreggiani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Bogren in the 37th minute of play. With a little luck, Lidköping's Kristoffer Västerstrand got control of the ball when Gösta Lundberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Gösta Lundberg came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Blåvitt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gösta Lundberg couldn't finish the play. When Dariusz Puchlik fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lidköping's protests and gave Dariusz Puchlik a yellow card for diving instead. Dariusz Puchlik hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Stefan Eriksson held his arms out in dispair when he, after a nice solo performance in the 49th minute, finished the attack by shooting the ball on the wrong side of the right post. It was Stefan Eriksson who took care of the corner kick. Mike Cassar Torreggiani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Mårtensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Allan Björk could shoot a difficult shot in the 82nd minute, which Mike Cassar Torreggiani however easily saved by the left post. Expedito Doctore hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Kristoffer Västerstrand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gösta Lundberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute, Adam Mårtensson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Blåvitt's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
