After 26 played minutes Mellbystrand IK got a freekick which was hit by Björn Ekström. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sten Melberg in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Alrot saved Mellbystrand IK from getting behind. Di Röe's George Kristiansson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Di Röe from getting a goal against them. Kurt Brogren struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. George Kristiansson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mellbystrand IK. The supporters of Mellbystrand IK booed when Di Röe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sten Melberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Di Röe had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
