Leones Futbol Club's Benigno Arias quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elvio Bastiaro in the 15th minute of play forced Leones Futbol Club's goalkeeper Mauricio Guillelmus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mauricio Guillelmus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elvio Bastiaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Leones Futbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Eustacio Amaya was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orlando Chorache breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lázaro Berdoi made a kick off. Orlando Chorache made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Lázaro Berdoi sent off a good shot on target. In the 59th minute, Lázaro Berdoi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leones Futbol Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 9 De Julio de Rafaela's Orlando Chorache proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save 9 De Julio de Rafaela from getting a goal against them. In the 64th minute, Eustacio Amaya left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leones Futbol Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Cirilo Micael hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. The supporters of Leones Futbol Club booed when 9 De Julio de Rafaela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elvio Bastiaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Leones Futbol Club's Lázaro Berdoi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Orlando Chorache narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ove Gallberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Orlando Chorache made a huge save. Orlando Chorache took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Berdoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 De Julio de Rafaela's Orlando Chorache played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lázaro Berdoi in the 93rd minute of play. Orlando Chorache showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lázaro Berdoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Orlando Chorache came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Leones Futbol Club's Lázaro Berdoi. But to his dismay, Lázaro Berdoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4.
