Poetass FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafa Coutinho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Cássio de Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafa Coutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Luís Fabiano Varela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s Walmir Dias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olavo Carioca in the 25th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s goal looked a bit too open when Sandrinho Carvalho came free, but Walmir Dias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Poetass FC's goalkeeper Cássio de Senna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafa Coutinho. In the 33rd minute Luís Fabiano Varela suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Claudinho Saldanha charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claudinho Saldanha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Claudinho Saldanha kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Walmir Dias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandrinho Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Charles Vergílio charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Charles Vergílio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Charles Vergílio kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olavo Carioca made a kick off. After 54 minutes, Rafa Coutinho made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Poetass FC's Cássio de Senna tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Sandrinho Carvalho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Walmir Dias made a huge save. Poetass FC's Cássio de Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Capixaba in the 59th minute of play. When Osvaldo Branco fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Poetass FC's protests and gave Osvaldo Branco a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd minute, Rafa Coutinho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cássio de Senna was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Rafa Coutinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cássio de Senna having to interfere. Cássio de Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Capixaba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Poetass FC's Cássio de Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Capixaba in the 76th minute of play. If Leopoldo Capixaba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Poetass FC's Victor Vidal got a free kick in the 80th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafa Coutinho in the 83rd minute of play forced Poetass FC's goalkeeper Cássio de Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dani Portillo hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. 85 minutes into the match, Rafa Coutinho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cássio de Senna. Poetass FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafa Coutinho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. In the 88th minute Rafa Coutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio de Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafa Coutinho in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cássio de Senna saved Poetass FC from getting behind.
