Doni Pena kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Svante Bröms sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 10 minutes into the game, Jumeuc Futebol Clube's Túlio Dias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Melin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 18th minute of the game, Ernst Holmberg landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 19 minutes, Jacinto Vale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jumeuc Futebol Clube and the Juoksengi players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Jumeuc Futebol Clube's Jacinto Vale got a free kick in the 20th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Erland Giöck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Juoksengi's supporters rose to their feet, but Erland Giöck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aníbal Arruda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22nd minute, Kim Håkansson had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Túlio Dias fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jumeuc Futebol Clube's protests and gave Túlio Dias a yellow card for diving instead. Juoksengi made a substitution. Paul Bock replaced Kim Håkansson. The supporters of Juoksengi booed when Jumeuc Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Túlio Dias didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Jumeuc Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Aníbal Arruda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manfred Kjellkvist. Doni Pena kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 28th minute Juoksengi were awarded a corner. Erland Giöck went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 32nd match minute, Juoksengi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manfred Kjellkvist to maneuver through the defense. Aníbal Arruda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manfred Kjellkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Jumeuc Futebol Clube were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Svante Bröms was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Dagoberto Guerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aníbal Arruda came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Juoksengi's Svante Bröms. But to his dismay, Svante Bröms quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Túlio Dias had several of the Juoksengi's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 60 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Tommy Melin as he didn't even see the shot coming. 64 minutes into the match, Juoksengi's goalkeeper Tommy Melin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Túlio Dias. After 70 played minutes Juoksengi got a freekick which was hit by Erland Giöck. Aníbal Arruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erland Giöck in the 74th minute of the match. If Erland Giöck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Patrick Sarmento fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jumeuc Futebol Clube's protests and gave Patrick Sarmento a yellow card for diving instead. Dedé Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Tommy Melin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erland Giöck in the 89th minute of play forced Jumeuc Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Aníbal Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kjell Persson charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kjell Persson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kjell Persson kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Juoksengi's goalkeeper Tommy Melin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chants of Jumeuc Futebol Clube echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Juoksengi had held the ball for most of the match.
