Lester Nygaard was shown his second yellow card after 46 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Dé Favoretto managed to get in a good position for a shot. ITAFUT 4EVER's supporters rose to their feet, but Dé Favoretto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernani Oliveira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José Augusto Novaes was the one to do the kick off. Marco Dias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Emerson Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ITAFUT 4EVER's Orlando Mineiro got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in ITAFUT 4EVER's zone, Marco Dias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emerson Leão came out of the goal and Marco Dias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ITAFUT 4EVER made a substitution. Estevez Palmeira replaced Dé Favoretto. Emerson Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. ITAFUT 4EVER's Orlando Mineiro got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. José Augusto Novaes struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Ernani Oliveira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Ernani Oliveira was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but José Augusto Novaes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 90 minute of play. Beto Viana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernani Oliveira having to interfere. Gonçalo Coelho kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
