Ederono Vilardell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberigo Prosperi in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Marco Ruben recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Thomás Toscano. Marco Ruben showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Marco Ruben received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Thomás Toscano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's Marco Ruben sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thomás Toscano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alberigo Prosperi took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ederono Vilardell. Ederono Vilardell dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilton Fontes in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ederono Vilardell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 37 minutes into the match, Alberigo Prosperi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ederono Vilardell. ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberigo Prosperi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Zézinho Coutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The supporters of Capibaribe Stars booed when ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zézinho Coutinho didn't get a good kick on the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alberigo Prosperi made a kick off. Alberigo Prosperi did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Ederono Vilardell 51 minutes into the match. Ederono Vilardell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberigo Prosperi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute Capibaribe Stars were awarded a corner. Wilton Fontes went to the cornerflag to take it. Wilton Fontes made a great header on Capibaribe Stars's corner, it was just that ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's Ederono Vilardell managed to reach the ball for a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Nike 武磊 managed to get in a good position for a shot. Capibaribe Stars's supporters rose to their feet, but Nike 武磊 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ederono Vilardell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Capibaribe Stars's Mohamed Basso was substituted for Alberigo Prosperi. Wilton Fontes was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. The Capibaribe Stars players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
