Thomás Toscano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Capibaribe Stars's Robinho Urbano was substituted for Alberigo Prosperi. In the 15th minute Seyfettin Onursoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomás Toscano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's David Abad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Costa in the 17th minute of play. David Abad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Abad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Costa in the 18th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Tytus Orling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomás Toscano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute of the game Xu Yong Feng made a throw-in which Su Jian Jie played forward. Thomás Toscano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Seyfettin Onursoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Thomás Toscano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Robinho Urbano made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Capibaribe Stars's Thomás Toscano got control of the ball when Seyfettin Onursoy tried to sneak it across the goal line. David Abad stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robinho Urbano's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Seyfettin Onursoy got free with Thomás Toscano in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 72 minutes into the match, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Robinho Urbano came free, but David Abad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 74 minutes into the game, Kjell Mattsson threw the ball into play from the sideline. Capibaribe Stars's Jarl Rossebø quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. David Abad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robinho Urbano in the 75th minute of play. Thomás Toscano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Seyfettin Onursoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the last second Thomás Toscano throw himself and got hold of the ball when Seyfettin Onursoy in the 77thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Henry Costa struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. David Abad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Capibaribe Stars. Thomás Toscano came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Seyfettin Onursoy. But to his dismay, Seyfettin Onursoy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Chinese CJ Youth Academy had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
