Horacio Sayveon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amauri Félix having to make a save. 11 minutes into the match, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goalkeeper Amauri Félix had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Horacio Sayveon. Alexandre Brasil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens-Ove Malm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jens-Ove Malm in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexandre Brasil saved E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE from getting behind. Alexandre Brasil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Siqueira in the 18th minute of the match. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Amauri Félix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juninho Eger in the 20th minute of play. Alexandre Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Ove Malm in the 25th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Ove Malm came free, but Alexandre Brasil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Jens-Ove Malm nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alexandre Brasil made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Juninho Eger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Amauri Félix made a huge save. Alexandre Brasil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Ove Malm, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horacio Sayveon in the 39th minute of play forced Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goalkeeper Amauri Félix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Israel Vidal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Horacio Sayveon made a kick off. Alexandre Brasil was a little too slow when Israel Vidal got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 0-4. In the 62nd match minute, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luizão do Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. After 67 played minutes E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE got a freekick which was hit by Tostão Motta. The supporters of Rio Verde F.C CIMZ booed when E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tostão Motta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vítor Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Amauri Félix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandre Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Ove Malm in the 88th minute of play. After some careless play in the E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE defense, Jens-Ove Malm kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alexandre Brasil. The E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alexandre Brasil should have stopped the shot. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ played a much better game than E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE and deserved their victory. The E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
