In the 23rd match minute, AC KaM Kutno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pankracy Kociniewski to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Borys Pankiewicz in the 25th minute of play forced AC KaM Kutno's goalkeeper Ryszard Chludzinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led Pogoń Stawiszyn's Witold Gibowski to fire away a dangerous shot which Ryszard Chludzinski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Borys Pankiewicz in the 32nd minute of play forced AC KaM Kutno's goalkeeper Ryszard Chludzinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ryszard Chludzinski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Borys Pankiewicz in the 33rd minute. After 34 minutes of play, AC KaM Kutno's Jacek Fujara made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Willy Gunckel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
