If Borys Banach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Ksawery Pilarczyk could shoot a difficult shot in the 47th minute, which Nardo Zalaca however easily saved by the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Miromir Pazura made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zachary Olszewski in the 58th minute. Nardo Zalaca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ksawery Pilarczyk in the 59th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Sieradz's Zachary Olszewski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Miromir Pazura. That made the score 1-1 after 61 minutes of play. In the 64th minute, Antoni Skaradoski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gumisie Rybnik were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after FC Sieradz's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edward Sliwinski took the corner. Tobiasz Blicharz made a great header on Gumisie Rybnik's corner, it was just that FC Sieradz's Nardo Zalaca managed to reach the ball for a save. After 70 played minutes FC Sieradz got a freekick which was hit by Léon Eustache. Iwo Tyskie's late challenge caught a FC Sieradz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iwo Tyskie helped the player get up and apologised. Miromir Pazura dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The supporters of FC Sieradz booed when Gumisie Rybnik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teobald Grocholski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute Borys Banach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nardo Zalaca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zachary Olszewski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Miromir Pazura made a huge save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Sieradz had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
