Mawer Kraków's Gáspár Kinizsi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacek Kolbe in the 8th minute of play. With his leg Gáspár Kinizsi managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Pogoń Stawiszyn's Ryszard Pilipiec fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pogoń Stawiszyn's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Wlodzimierz Bury was slow to take the kick. During this time Mawer Kraków's players had a chance to rest. A well done corner resulted in Damazy Oryl drilling the ball in to score 1-1 behind Pogoń Stawiszyn's goalkeeper. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Radoslaw Trojanowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pogoń Stawiszyn's supporters rose to their feet, but Radoslaw Trojanowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gáspár Kinizsi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 32nd minute, Pogoń Stawiszyn's Kazimierz Dylla ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gáspár Kinizsi. Gáspár Kinizsi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Gilbert Podolski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartosz Wawak in the 36th minute of the match. When Pogoń Stawiszyn's Ryszard Pilipiec in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mawer Kraków's goalie prevented a goal. After 40 minutes Mawer Kraków's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Radoslaw Trojanowski who took care of the corner kick. After 40 played minutes Pogoń Stawiszyn got a freekick which was hit by Lech Gmoch. After a defensive mix-up in Pogoń Stawiszyn's zone, Bartosz Wawak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilbert Podolski came out of the goal and Bartosz Wawak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bartosz Wawak to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryszard Pilipiec in the 51st minute of play forced Mawer Kraków's goalkeeper Gáspár Kinizsi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pogoń Stawiszyn were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after Mawer Kraków's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Radoslaw Trojanowski took the corner. After 53 minutes, Ryszard Pilipiec made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Mawer Kraków's Gáspár Kinizsi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 56 minutes of play, Mawer Kraków's Bartosz Wawak made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilbert Podolski was left in no man's land by his defense there! 61 minutes into the match, Mawer Kraków's goal looked a bit too open when Ryszard Pilipiec came free, but Gáspár Kinizsi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Pogoń Stawiszyn's Kazimierz Dylla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gáspár Kinizsi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Pogoń Stawiszyn fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Pogoń Stawiszyn's Kazimierz Dylla looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mawer Kraków made a substitution. Wincenty Rekawiczka replaced Bartosz Wawak. The audience was convinced that Ryszard Pilipiec's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gáspár Kinizsi was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Gáspár Kinizsi came out of the goal and Kazimierz Dylla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81st minute Mawer Kraków were awarded a corner. Wlodzimierz Bury went to the cornerflag to take it. 90 minutes into the match, Mawer Kraków's goal looked a bit too open when Ryszard Pilipiec came free, but Gáspár Kinizsi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute, Marian Dzierwa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wlodzimierz Bury sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pogoń Stawiszyn's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
