The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Eric Florescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iwo Domarecki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iwan Zachemski, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vural Enfa in the 7th minute of play forced Spartan FC Mogilany's goalkeeper Iwo Domarecki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aureliusz Koprowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Octavian Nicolescu went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Iwo Domarecki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wieslaw Gamza in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Vural Enfa notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Spartan FC Mogilany's Iwo Domarecki. Iwo Domarecki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Spartan FC Mogilany's goalkeeper Iwo Domarecki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Octavian Nicolescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aureliusz Koprowski was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Octavian Nicolescu sped through Dłubnia Nowa Huta's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aureliusz Koprowski. If Wieslaw Gamza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aureliusz Koprowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavian Nicolescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute Wieslaw Gamza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwo Domarecki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute of the match Dłubnia Nowa Huta got a corner. Spartan FC Mogilany's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Iwan Zachemski ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Iwan Zachemski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Iwo Domarecki quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Iwo Domarecki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wieslaw Gamza in the 34th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Spartan FC Mogilany's Aureliusz Koprowski threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Octavian Nicolescu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Aureliusz Koprowski made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Leroy Parkinson sent off a good shot on target. In the 44th minute of the match Leroy Parkinson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aureliusz Koprowski skillfully saved the ball. In the 45th minute Octavian Nicolescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliusz Koprowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Zachary Kiszkiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vural Enfa to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wieslaw Gamza in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iwo Domarecki saved Spartan FC Mogilany from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Octavian Nicolescu in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aureliusz Koprowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 56thth minute of the game Octavian Nicolescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dłubnia Nowa Huta's Aureliusz Koprowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aureliusz Koprowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavian Nicolescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Aureliusz Koprowski came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Spartan FC Mogilany's Wojciech Skaradowski. But to his dismay, Wojciech Skaradowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 61 minutes into the game, Kent Lykkemose was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dłubnia Nowa Huta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Spartan FC Mogilany the free kick. In the 61st match minute, Dłubnia Nowa Huta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kent Lykkemose to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Spartan FC Mogilany booed when Dłubnia Nowa Huta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iwan Zachemski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dłubnia Nowa Huta's Aureliusz Koprowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavian Nicolescu in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Sever Ulici hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wojciech Skaradowski in the 67th minute of play forced Dłubnia Nowa Huta's goalkeeper Aureliusz Koprowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dłubnia Nowa Huta's Aureliusz Koprowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavian Nicolescu in the 74th minute of play. After 75 played minutes Dłubnia Nowa Huta got a freekick which was hit by Zachary Kiszkiel. After 76 played minutes Dłubnia Nowa Huta got a freekick which was hit by Zachary Kiszkiel. A collision led to Dłubnia Nowa Huta getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Vural Enfa hit a great ball. In the 78th minute, Konstanty Smolarek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aureliusz Koprowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. The supporters of Dłubnia Nowa Huta booed when Spartan FC Mogilany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Liam Hähner didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 85 minutes of play, Spartan FC Mogilany's Konstanty Smolarek made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aureliusz Koprowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aureliusz Koprowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liam Hähner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Spartan FC Mogilany were the better team. Spartan FC Mogilany's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
