The audience thought a goal was coming when Milosz Glembin got free with Ryszard Chludzinski in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jan Piesciuk hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Nardo Zalaca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Willy Gunckel, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After a rather tough play, FC Sieradz's Zbyszek Frankowski got a free kick in the 37th minute. Ludomir Absolwent struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Ryszard Chludzinski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Sieradz. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Willy Gunckel made a kick off. In the 55th match minute, AC KaM Kutno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dobromir Wasikowski to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, FC Sieradz's Dawid Jarosiewicz got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute of the match, Willy Gunckel tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nardo Zalaca saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 67 minutes into the match, Bart Krefft had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ryszard Chludzinski. AC KaM Kutno's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bart Krefft was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Dawid Jarosiewicz's late challenge caught a AC KaM Kutno's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dawid Jarosiewicz helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FC Sieradz's Dawid Jarosiewicz got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 75th match minute, FC Sieradz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bart Krefft to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the match, FC Sieradz's goal looked a bit too open when Willy Gunckel came free, but Nardo Zalaca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
