The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Firefighter BT ★Dac★ booed when Fc Camerunul ★DAC★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergiu Plopșor didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Fc Camerunul ★DAC★'s goalkeeper Ernest Babarada had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valer Buta. Ernest Babarada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valer Buta in the 12th minute of the match. In the 13th minute Valer Buta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernest Babarada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th match minute, Fc Camerunul ★DAC★ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iosif Comănescu to maneuver through the defense. Sergiu Plopșor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. George Frântu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. George Frântu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrik Biörnberg in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Firefighter BT ★Dac★'s Valer Buta dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Firefighter BT ★Dac★'s Valer Buta got a free kick in the 33rd minute. George Frântu went to the wrong direction when Iosif Comănescu was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 42nd minute, Firefighter BT ★Dac★'s Valer Buta dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. After 47 played minutes Fc Camerunul ★DAC★ got a freekick which was hit by Denis Abraham. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sergiu Plopșor to make the kick off. Ernest Babarada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valer Buta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sergiu Plopșor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute, Sergiu Plopșor reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of George Frântu. The goal made the score 4-1. George Frântu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sergiu Plopșor's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. After 69 played minutes Firefighter BT ★Dac★ got a freekick which was hit by Grigore Apăvăloaie. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Sergiu Plopșor took a quick shot and it went in 4-2 without a chance for George Frântu to make any attempt to save it. After 74 played minutes Fc Camerunul ★DAC★ got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Biörnberg. If Henrik Biörnberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fc Camerunul ★DAC★'s Sergiu Plopșor got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. George Frântu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergiu Plopșor in the 84th minute of the match. Sergiu Plopșor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Frântu having to interfere. George Frântu didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 92nd minute, which inside left pole to 4-3. Denis Abraham lost his temper 96 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 97 played minutes Fc Camerunul ★DAC★ got a freekick which was hit by Denis Abraham. Ernest Babarada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valer Buta in the 98th minute of the match. Firefighter BT ★Dac★ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Fc Camerunul ★DAC★ for a fine match.
