The corner was taken by Eliodor Păstrăv in the 31st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tiberiu Măgureanu in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcu Loghin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iulian Gheorghe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcu Loghin having to make a save. Marian Taşcău's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sorin Elian read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Iulian Gheorghe took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Marcu Loghin to make any attempt to save it. Sorin Elian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vasile Chira, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emanuel Tiberiu made a kick off. Delphine Stars's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ⚽️FC CRYSTYAN ACADEMY⚽️ ™ the free kick. After a rather tough play, Delphine Stars's Victor Mahonea got a free kick in the 79th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Delphine Stars's zone, Eliodor Păstrăv stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcu Loghin came out of the goal and Eliodor Păstrăv tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
