Alcorcón's goal looked a bit too open when Vitalij Káňa came free, but Maurino Serena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maurino Serena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitalij Káňa, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Maurino Serena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonzalo Plata in the 18th minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, A.D. Alcorcón's Erlantz Bermejo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kjell Trengereid narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Maurino Serena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Vitalij Káňa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maurino Serena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitalij Káňa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But to his dismay, Vitalij Káňa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4.
