After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Maximino Ekain managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cuervos Galácticos's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximino Ekain was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doni Seco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elpidio Paul's late challenge caught a Castanheiro SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elpidio Paul helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Cuervos Galácticos's Elpidio Paul got a free kick in the 21st minute. Mauro Sarmento scored 0-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hipolito Cordera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ronaldo Pinho took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hipolito Cordera. Hipolito Cordera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Hipolito Cordera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Geovani Madureira went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After 36 minutes of play, Castanheiro SC's Marcelo Eger made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hipolito Cordera was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Castanheiro SC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Mauro Sarmento hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcelo Eger stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Cuervos Galácticos's goalkeeper Hipolito Cordera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Geovani Madureira. Marcelo Eger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcelo Eger in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hipolito Cordera saved Cuervos Galácticos from getting behind. Marcelo Eger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marco Bezerra showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. In the 67th minute, Castanheiro SC's Marcelo Eger dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. When Mauro Sarmento in the 74th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Hipolito Cordera kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-7 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. In the 76th match minute, Cuervos Galácticos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximino Ekain to maneuver through the defense. In the 79thth minute of the game Marcelo Eger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cuervos Galácticos's Hipolito Cordera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcelo Eger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 0-8 when Marcelo Eger sped through Cuervos Galácticos's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hipolito Cordera. After 85 played minutes Cuervos Galácticos got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Domingues. Marcelo Eger struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Hipolito Cordera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castanheiro SC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcelo Eger in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hipolito Cordera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cuervos Galácticos's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Júnior Alagoano scored to the left of an out of position Hipolito Cordera, making the score, 0-9. In the 93rd match minute, Cuervos Galácticos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Eleazar to maneuver through the defense. Castanheiro SC played a much better game than Cuervos Galácticos and deserved their victory. The Cuervos Galácticos players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
