Iwo Setara's late challenge caught a Olympique Salonais's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iwo Setara helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Sosnowe Klimaty getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Iwo Setara hit a great ball. When Waldemar Mroczynski fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sosnowe Klimaty's protests and gave Waldemar Mroczynski a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Olympique Salonais booed when Sosnowe Klimaty was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldemar Mroczynski didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jarod Hild had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute Jarod Hild shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Janusz Grabski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tolek Ferfecki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Milosz Penkalski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jarod Hild kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Jarod Hild struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Thibaut Fortin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Hajder in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Tanek Dziatkowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sosnowe Klimaty fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After having played for 68 minutes, Christopher Lucas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olympique Salonais's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christopher Lucas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thibaut Fortin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Jean-Marie Guerre was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 75 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Olympique Salonais's Jean-Marie Guerre got a free kick in the 75th minute. Sebastian Dynda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 83 minutes into the match, Olympique Salonais's goal looked a bit too open when Milosz Penkalski came free, but Thibaut Fortin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thibaut Fortin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tolek Ferfecki in the 87th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Milosz Penkalski made a precise shot to the right of Thibaut Fortin. Olympique Salonais's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sosnowe Klimaty fully deserved thier win.
