Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Elliott Torsberg started the match with the kick off. Jaba Stopar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brad Hudson having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Bengt Berg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vejbystrand's supporters rose to their feet, but Bengt Berg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brad Hudson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jay Gale hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. 8 minutes into the match, Carlisle United's goal looked a bit too open when Elliott Torsberg came free, but Brad Hudson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Scottie Moal came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Vejbystrand fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Scottie Moal couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hugh Tyson got free with Arne Karlsson in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thomas Power recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th minute, Jay Gale left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carlisle United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Arne Karlsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugh Tyson in the 30th minute of the match. Brad Hudson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Åkesson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute, Carlisle United's Thomas Power dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Jay Gale was extremely unlucky when he, in the 38th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Hugh Tyson took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arne Karlsson. Arne Karlsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 46 minutes into the game, Leonardo Stensson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vejbystrand's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carlisle United the free kick. Leonardo Stensson hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. If Jay Gale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Thomas Power recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Per-Erik Dahlkvist fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vejbystrand's protests and gave Per-Erik Dahlkvist a yellow card for diving instead. Per-Erik Dahlkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Gösta Hedkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, Jan Thomas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bengt-Arne Smed's late challenge caught a Carlisle United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bengt-Arne Smed helped the player get up and apologised. In the 84th minute, Bengt-Arne Smed hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute, Jay Gale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Vejbystrand's Edward Åkesson got a free kick in the 86th minute. Jaba Stopar hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After 91 played minutes Carlisle United got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Power. Vejbystrand's Arne Karlsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jay Gale in the 93rd minute of play. Jay Gale struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Arne Karlsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carlisle United. A collision led to Carlisle United getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Hugh Tyson hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Carlisle United fans cheered their team off the field, for while Vejbystrand had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
