Hipolito Cordera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Carlisle United defense, Santos Lauren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brad Hudson. The Carlisle United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brad Hudson should have stopped the shot. Carlisle United's Thomas Power managed to work through Cuervos Galácticos's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Thomas Power dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Benito Feliu kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jay Gale in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hipolito Cordera saved Cuervos Galácticos from getting behind. Carlisle United's Hugh Tyson got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thomas Power sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jay Gale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hipolito Cordera having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jay Gale in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hipolito Cordera saved Cuervos Galácticos from getting behind. 44 minutes into the match, Cuervos Galácticos's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Power came free, but Hipolito Cordera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Fidel Bizen fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cuervos Galácticos's protests and gave Fidel Bizen a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Carlisle United booed when Cuervos Galácticos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fidel Bizen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jay Gale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hipolito Cordera having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Santos Lauren made a kick off. The supporters of Carlisle United booed when Cuervos Galácticos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Deunoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximino Ekain took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brad Hudson. Brad Hudson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Hipolito Cordera was a little too slow when Jay Gale got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 2-2. In the 69th match minute, Cuervos Galácticos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidel Bizen to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute of the match Gav Williams shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hipolito Cordera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Carlisle United's Conal Denham pulled a muscle in his back after 71 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Carlisle United made a substitution. Sebastian Beale replaced Conal Denham. In the 72nd match minute, Cuervos Galácticos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elpidio Paul to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute of the match Cuervos Galácticos got a corner. Carlisle United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emilio Frasquito ran over to the corner to take the kick. Thomas Power hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute Emilio Frasquito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brad Hudson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brad Hudson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Lauren in the 89th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hugh Tyson during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Cuervos Galácticos booed when Carlisle United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugh Tyson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cuervos Galácticos succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Carlisle United had controlled the match.
