Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niculae Podgoreanu in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Big Saver prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 26th match minute, -BZF- Barca de Buzau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Irinel Bîlbă to maneuver through the defense. Big Saver showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costin Neacșu, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Jock Tare made the kick off in the second half. Silviu Lung showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jock Tare in the 54th minute of the match.
