Traian Balaban hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Big Saver proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save -BZF- Barca de Buzau from getting a goal against them. After 5 minutes of play, FC Buzău's Augustin Cernat made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Big Saver was left in no man's land by his defense there! 8 minutes into the match, -BZF- Barca de Buzau's goal looked a bit too open when Traian Balaban came free, but Big Saver reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when FC Buzău's Traian Balaban fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Gheorghe Baldovin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Pumnu in the 10th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Denis Pumnu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gheorghe Baldovin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Big Saver made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cătălin Arjoca in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute, Vintilă Stoicea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Avram Elenescu in the 15th minute of play forced -BZF- Barca de Buzau's goalkeeper Big Saver to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Big Saver showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Strugure, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Buzău's goalkeeper Gheorghe Baldovin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Strugure in the 26th minute of play forced -BZF- Barca de Buzau's goalkeeper Big Saver to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Viorel Bungescu kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Big Saver took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Avram Elenescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Avram Elenescu in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Big Saver saved -BZF- Barca de Buzau from getting behind. Denis Pumnu took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gheorghe Baldovin. Gheorghe Baldovin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. 38 minutes into the game, Emil Strugure recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Big Saver. Emil Strugure showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. After a defensive mix-up in FC Buzău's zone, Vlad Agusoaei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gheorghe Baldovin came out of the goal and Vlad Agusoaei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Denis Pumnu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gheorghe Baldovin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Pumnu in the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jock Tare made a kick off. When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Leonard Aanuţei sped through -BZF- Barca de Buzau's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Big Saver. After 58 minutes, Avram Elenescu made it 5-2 with a short kick to the right side. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Big Saver tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A sloppy throw-in by Cătălin Arjoca in the 67th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Adam Tănăsie. FC Buzău were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after -BZF- Barca de Buzau's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leonard Aanuţei took the corner. After 72 minutes -BZF- Barca de Buzau's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leonard Aanuţei who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on FC Buzău's corner Avram Elenescu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Big Saver quite easily take care of the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Gheorghe Baldovin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Big Saver showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Strugure in the 85th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Viorel Bungescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Big Saver made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Avram Elenescu in the 93rd minute of play. In the 95th minute, Lucian Dejeu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gheorghe Baldovin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Pumnu in the 96th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Buzău had played much better football throughout.
