In the 5th minute, Iulian Strungă got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 6 minutes of play, -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Ana Ţugui made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iulian Nisipeanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! 15 minutes into the match, Ana Ţugui notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's Iulian Nisipeanu. Iulian Nisipeanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 20th minute, Damian Vârnav hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the game's 20th minute -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Iulian Strungă took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Iulian Nisipeanu and thus the score was 3-0. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Luca Mureșan sped through -BZF- Valea Buzăului's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Manole Tăcutu. In the 31st minute Flávio Ţugui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iulian Nisipeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flávio Ţugui received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Iulian Nisipeanu came out and tried to block the shot, but Flávio Ţugui slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 32nd minute. From close distance Emanuel Ioanițiu pressed in the 5-1 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 35 minutes into the game. Ana Ţugui was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 38th minute. -BZF- Valea Buzăului's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 43rd match minute, -BZF- Viitorul Buzau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Vârnav to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Flávio Ţugui to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Flávio Ţugui's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iulian Nisipeanu was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. At last the ball reached Emanuel Ioanițiu at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of -BZF- Viitorul Buzau. 7-1. In the 66th minute Ana Ţugui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iulian Nisipeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute of the match Iulian Strungă sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iulian Nisipeanu skillfully saved the ball. 73 minutes into the game, Gelu Jumancă was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. -BZF- Valea Buzăului's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave -BZF- Viitorul Buzau the free kick. The supporters of -BZF- Viitorul Buzau booed when -BZF- Valea Buzăului was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gelu Jumancă didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the game, one of -BZF- Viitorul Buzau:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Iulian Strungă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Iulian Nisipeanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ana Ţugui in the 82nd minute of play. A very good chance. A collision led to -BZF- Viitorul Buzau getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Filip Valerian hit a great ball. Iulian Nisipeanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flávio Ţugui in the 98th minute of play. -BZF- Valea Buzăului's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
