Gheorghe Vărzaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iulian Taşcu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Horaţiu Nițoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Inculeț, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 12th minute, Iulian Taşcu made a precise shot to the right of Gheorghe Vărzaru. FC Buzău's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Felix Vorniceanu hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After having played for 15 minutes, Sorin Zâncă managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Buzău's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sorin Zâncă was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 18 minutes into the game, Iulian Taşcu lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Gheorghe Vărzaru. The supporters of FC Buzău booed when -BZF- Barca de Buzau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Panait Vochin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Valeriu Băcioiu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Buzău the free kick. In the 31stth minute of the game Iulian Taşcu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Buzău's Gheorghe Vărzaru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Sebastian Purje came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the -BZF- Barca de Buzau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Purje couldn't finish the play. Iulian Taşcu was extremely unlucky when he, in the 33rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 36th minute of the match Basarab Achimescu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gheorghe Vărzaru skillfully saved the ball. In the 37th minute David Cismarescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horaţiu Nițoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florin Barascu hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Gheorghe Vărzaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iulian Taşcu in the 41st minute of the match. The wind increased when Ionel Lung made the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the game, Luca Inculeț recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Horaţiu Nițoi. Luca Inculeț showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. The supporters of FC Buzău booed when -BZF- Barca de Buzau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Vorniceanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute, FC Buzău's Mădălin Cârnațiu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mădălin Cârnațiu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Buzău protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mădălin Cârnațiu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 68 minutes into the game, one of FC Buzău:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 71st minute there was a penalty for -BZF- Barca de Buzau. Iulian Taşcu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gheorghe Vărzaru. 4-1. Codruț Ichimescu hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Gheorghe Vărzaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Purje, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Purje in the 80th minute of play forced FC Buzău's goalkeeper Gheorghe Vărzaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gheorghe Vărzaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liviu Răuţă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Basarab Achimescu in the 87th minute. In the 91st minute of the game Florin Barascu made a throw-in which Luca Inculeț played forward. Ovidiu Pătrașcu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Buzău's Gheorghe Vărzaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iulian Taşcu in the 95th minute of play. -BZF- Barca de Buzau were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
