When Gelu Jumancă fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored -BZF- Valea Buzăului's protests and gave Gelu Jumancă a yellow card for diving instead. The long shot by Codruț Bungeanu in the 9th minute really tested Manole Tăcutu's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When Vasile Brezeanu fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored -BZF-Magica Steaua's protests and gave Vasile Brezeanu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th minute, Vasile Brezeanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 18 played minutes, -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Iulian Strungă shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mihail Costa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in -BZF- Valea Buzăului reached it. Flávio Ţugui scored 0-3 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mihail Costa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 24 minutes into the game, Ana Ţugui cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Mihail Costa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mihail Costa came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Iancu Rebec. But to his dismay, Iancu Rebec quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. After 30 played minutes -BZF-Magica Steaua got a freekick which was hit by Silviu Dacian. Mihail Costa came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Ana Ţugui. But to his dismay, Ana Ţugui quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. After 34 played minutes, -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Emilian Ţurlău shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mihail Costa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in -BZF- Valea Buzăului reached it. Mihail Costa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Flávio Ţugui went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Ana Ţugui got a free kick in the 40th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Flávio Ţugui notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of -BZF-Magica Steaua's Mihail Costa. Mihail Costa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half -BZF- Valea Buzăului were leading 0-8. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 53rd minute, Iurie Ionașcu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mihail Costa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Flávio Ţugui went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. In the 59th minute, Flávio Ţugui ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mihail Costa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-10. Mihail Costa made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Iancu Rebec sent off a good shot on target. When Silviu Dacian fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored -BZF-Magica Steaua's protests and gave Silviu Dacian a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flávio Ţugui in the 69th minute of play forced -BZF-Magica Steaua's goalkeeper Mihail Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to -BZF-Magica Steaua getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Eduard Bordeianu hit a great ball. A hard shot by Iulian Strungă from long distance, 71 minutes into the match, got Mihail Costa's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Flávio Ţugui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. -BZF- Valea Buzăului made a substitution. The crowd rose to their feet as -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Iancu Rebec slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mihail Costa. That made the score 0-11 after 87 minutes of play. In the 92nd minute of the match Paul Baran sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mihail Costa skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sabin Cândroveanu got free with Mihail Costa in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to -BZF-Magica Steaua getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Alex Cozma hit a great ball. -BZF- Valea Buzăului's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
