Gösta Pihlblad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Rey Villazan made a huge save. Aleksander Smefeldt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilmer Villerias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustav Carlsson hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Paniagua in the 14th minute of play forced Bloodthirsty FC's goalkeeper Aleksander Smefeldt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rey Villazan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sten Hernström in the 17th minute of play. After a rather tough play, C.A. GUAYACO's German Malet got a free kick in the 18th minute. Marc Lindgren hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Armando Paniagua struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Aleksander Smefeldt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A. GUAYACO. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Johan Flink during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aleksander Smefeldt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from German Malet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gösta Pihlblad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute Armando Paniagua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleksander Smefeldt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After recieving a nice pass, Bloodthirsty FC's Johannes Törnqvist tried to score from far away in the 44th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sten Hernström was the one to do the kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 56 minutes into the game, when Marc Lindgren put in a rough tackle. In the 56th match minute, Bloodthirsty FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marc Lindgren to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xacintu Monterrey got free with Aleksander Smefeldt in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 61 played minutes Bloodthirsty FC got a freekick which was hit by Gustav Carlsson. Xacintu Monterrey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Aleksander Smefeldt made a huge save. 63 minutes into the game, Kristian Nordström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bloodthirsty FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A. GUAYACO the free kick. A collision led to Bloodthirsty FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Kristian Nordström hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute, Gustav Carlsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute, Armando Paniagua made a precise shot to the right of Aleksander Smefeldt. Bloodthirsty FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 84 minutes into the match, German Malet dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aleksander Smefeldt, 1-2. Aleksander Smefeldt came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A. GUAYACO's Armando Paniagua. But to his dismay, Armando Paniagua quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Rey Villazan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustav Carlsson went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. C.A. GUAYACO's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
