Chlory were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Avelgem ad. Schelde's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomasz Adamowicz took the corner. When Henri-Xavier Lenaerts fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Avelgem ad. Schelde's protests and gave Henri-Xavier Lenaerts a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th match minute, Avelgem ad. Schelde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henri-Xavier Lenaerts to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute, Jeroen Maenhout got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roch Piechocki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Niek Molhoek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Jeroen Maenhout who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Bartosz Winnicki when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With his leg Bartosz Winnicki managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Avelgem ad. Schelde's Jeroen Maenhout fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Avelgem ad. Schelde's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tim-Jan Rosbach in the 40th minute. After 43 played minutes Chlory got a freekick which was hit by Wincenty Iwanowski. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bogdan Popowicz to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Zachariasz Terasek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andrzej Degutis took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Niek Molhoek. Niek Molhoek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. When Reinaert Huyghebaert fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Avelgem ad. Schelde's protests and gave Reinaert Huyghebaert a yellow card for diving instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Chlory's Bogdan Popowicz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Niek Molhoek. That made the score 0-5 after 63 minutes of play. Wincenty Iwanowski kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Niek Molhoek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roch Piechocki in the 70th minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Avelgem ad. Schelde's goal looked a bit too open when Bogdan Popowicz came free, but Niek Molhoek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henri-Xavier Lenaerts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartosz Winnicki having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Avelgem ad. Schelde's Jerom Van De Velden got a free kick in the 77th minute. Andrzej Degutis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Niek Molhoek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chlory's Bartosz Winnicki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeroen Maenhout in the 84th minute of play. Avelgem ad. Schelde's Niek Molhoek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Avelgem ad. Schelde from getting a goal against them. If Jeroen Maenhout had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrzej Degutis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Niek Molhoek when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Avelgem ad. Schelde fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Chlory were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
