Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) MAZER SAF's Ángel Romero started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Ángel Romero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lauro Linhares was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. The supporters of CE LAJEADENSE RS booed when MAZER SAF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erasmo Mesquita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lauro Linhares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ángel Romero, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 13th minute, but Lauro Linhares got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving CE LAJEADENSE RS hanging dry this time. In the 20th minute, Luís de Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 21 minutes into the match, CE LAJEADENSE RS's goal looked a bit too open when Ángel Romero came free, but Lauro Linhares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to CE LAJEADENSE RS getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Marcinho das Neves hit a great ball. A hard shot by Bernardinho Cunha from long distance, 25 minutes into the match, got Lauro Linhares's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 27th minute, Gernando Vianna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ángel Romero in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lauro Linhares, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 33rd minute Glauco Paranaense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matheus Donelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Glauco Paranaense in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matheus Donelli saved MAZER SAF from getting behind. In the 40th match minute, CE LAJEADENSE RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natanael Pinheiro to maneuver through the defense. After 42 minutes CE LAJEADENSE RS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bernardinho Cunha who took care of the corner kick. Cafu Alagoano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lauro Linhares came out and tried to block the shot, but Cafu Alagoano slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 44th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Cafu Alagoano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ángel Romero in the 54th minute of play forced CE LAJEADENSE RS's goalkeeper Lauro Linhares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cafu Alagoano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. MAZER SAF made a substitution. André Luís Vargas replaced Joélson Coutinho. In the 67th minute Ángel Romero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lauro Linhares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardinho Cunha in the 68th minute of play forced CE LAJEADENSE RS's goalkeeper Lauro Linhares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Manfredo de Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to CE LAJEADENSE RS getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Eliézer Ramos hit a great ball. The attack was good, but when Ángel Romero in the 76th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 88th minute Glauco Paranaense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matheus Donelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cléber de Souza hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute of the match André Luís Vargas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lauro Linhares skillfully saved the ball. Lauro Linhares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cafu Alagoano went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. When the referee ended the match the MAZER SAF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
