The B68 Toftir fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Mihail Ciuvică came free with the goalkeeper in the 19th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Beat Leutwyler could save by the left post. The corner led to Vorwärts Lübeck's Brix Wenauer getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Maximino Goi managed to get in a good position for a shot. B68 Toftir's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximino Goi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abubakar Noach breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Beat Leutwyler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cecilio Ortzi in the 25th minute of play. Beat Leutwyler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cecilio Ortzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abubakar Noach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximino Goi, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. A collision led to B68 Toftir getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Hüseyin Akbulatov hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in B68 Toftir's zone, Cecilio Ortzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Beat Leutwyler came out of the goal and Cecilio Ortzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 47 minutes into the match, Vorwärts Lübeck's goal looked a bit too open when Lázaro Lizbeth came free, but Abubakar Noach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Thanks to some nice moves Maximino Goi could shoot a difficult shot in the 51st minute, which Abubakar Noach however easily saved by the left post. Beat Leutwyler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Casero in the 53rd minute of play. Cecilio Ortzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Beat Leutwyler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as B68 Toftir's Khvicha Kvaratskhelia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Abubakar Noach. That made the score 1-3 after 75 minutes of play. If Mihail Ciuvică had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. B68 Toftir's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
