Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zenon Gall stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cosimo Franceschini could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Torjus Solvoll made a huge save. In the 88th minute Indiana Jones shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torjus Solvoll saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gettrup SIK's Sten Vonk was substituted for Zenon Gall. In the 91st minute of the match Skellerup FC got a corner. Gettrup SIK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Patrick Viera ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Skellerup FC's Stefan-Benjamin Hula getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Skellerup FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gettrup SIK.
