Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Xayvion Ageitos got the match started through his kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adolphe De Coster in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rune Jarstein prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 8th minute of the match Hertha 1969 got a corner. IFK Bajenby's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Moritz Hasenjäger ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Moritz Hasenjäger got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bengt Byström quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 10th minute of play forced IFK Bajenby's goalkeeper Bengt Byström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, IFK Bajenby's goal looked a bit too open when Wilhelm Nienhaus came free, but Bengt Byström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolphe De Coster in the 13th minute of play forced Hertha 1969's goalkeeper Rune Jarstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rune Jarstein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolphe De Coster, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute Adolphe De Coster shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rune Jarstein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 17 in the game by Wilhelm Nienhaus from a close distance when the talented Bengt Byström managed to make a qualified save. IFK Bajenby's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xayvion Ageitos in the 23rd minute of play forced Hertha 1969's goalkeeper Rune Jarstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Hertha 1969's goal looked a bit too open when Xayvion Ageitos came free, but Rune Jarstein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 24 minutes of play, IFK Bajenby's Adolphe De Coster made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bengt Byström, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Wilhelm Nienhaus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilhelm Nienhaus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th match minute, IFK Bajenby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olov Tunander to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute of the match Hertha 1969 got a corner. IFK Bajenby's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Moritz Hasenjäger ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 43 played minutes IFK Bajenby got a freekick which was hit by Breannain McNamee. Xayvion Ageitos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rune Jarstein read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilhelm Nienhaus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bengt Byström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristian Oswald, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bengt Byström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilhelm Nienhaus, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Rune Jarstein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Breannain McNamee, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xayvion Ageitos got free with Rune Jarstein in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stefan Mayer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Bengt Byström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rupert Heidingsfelder in the 82nd minute of play forced IFK Bajenby's goalkeeper Bengt Byström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th match minute, Hertha 1969 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rupert Heidingsfelder to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Xayvion Ageitos took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Rune Jarstein to make any attempt to save it. The audience was convinced that Rupert Heidingsfelder's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bengt Byström was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Bengt Byström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rupert Heidingsfelder in the 90th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Hertha 1969's Lüder Roppel got a free kick in the 91st minute. 93 minutes into the match, IFK Bajenby's goal looked a bit too open when Rupert Heidingsfelder came free, but Bengt Byström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bengt Byström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rupert Heidingsfelder, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
