Vorwärts Lübeck's supporters rose to their feet, but Cecilio Ortzi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tristan Nordlet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 7 minutes into the match, Holmkjar Hotspurs's goalkeeper Tristan Nordlet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marek Tomporowski. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bent Streyder in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abubakar Noach prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 17th minute Daniel Becker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tristan Nordlet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tristan Nordlet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Casero, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Bent Streyder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Abubakar Noach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abubakar Noach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elmar Lexbo in the 26th minute of the match. If Elmar Lexbo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severino Casero took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tristan Nordlet. Tristan Nordlet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Abubakar Noach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bent Streyder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bent Streyder to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Bent Streyder ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abubakar Noach was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Bent Streyders short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Abubakar Noach to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 56th minute of the match Holmkjar Hotspurs got a corner. Vorwärts Lübeck's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Elmar Lexbo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Elmar Lexbo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Vorwärts Lübeck's Abubakar Noach did a great save. Tristan Nordlet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marek Tomporowski in the 61st minute of the match. Holmkjar Hotspurs made a substitution.
