Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Hannover Reds's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Markus Thalberg in the 4th minute. After taking down the ball on Hannover Reds's corner Markus Thalberg fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Esra Breidert quite easily take care of the ball. After 5 minutes of play, Hannover Reds's Lars Voss made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Esra Breidert was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Hannover Reds's zone, Niko Wohlert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernd Yuschni came out of the goal and Niko Wohlert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ralf Große Verspohl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Bernd Yuschni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fryderyk Dziewulski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernd Yuschni read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Hannover Reds's Lars Voss managed to work through FC Traktor Götz's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Lars Voss dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Hannover Reds's Bernd Yuschni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximilian Obst in the 34th minute of play. Niko Wohlert took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernd Yuschni. Bernd Yuschni dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Esra Breidert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Voss, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 46 minutes into the game, Lei Xiang Rong was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hannover Reds's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Traktor Götz the free kick. In the 46th minute, Lei Xiang Rong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
In the 52nd minute Douglas Lundin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esra Breidert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralf Große Verspohl in the 85th minute of play forced Hannover Reds's goalkeeper Bernd Yuschni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Niko Wohlert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Hannover Reds's Lars Voss in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. FC Traktor Götz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niko Wohlert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 96th minute Lars Voss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esra Breidert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Hannover Reds had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
