Xayvion Ageitos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Torjus Solvoll made a huge save. When Gettrup SIK's Zenon Gall in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petrică Oproiu in the 20th minute of play forced IFK Bajenby's goalkeeper Bengt Byström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gettrup SIK were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after IFK Bajenby's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Loui Dyndgaard took the corner. Bengt Byström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loui Dyndgaard in the 23rd minute of play. Adolphe De Coster fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torjus Solvoll having to interfere. Zenon Gall scored 0-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bengt Byström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 30thth minute of the game Zenon Gall who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but IFK Bajenby's Bengt Byström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 33rd minute Breannain McNamee shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torjus Solvoll saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. IFK Bajenby's Jarl Torsberg got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Zenon Gall's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bengt Byström was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Zenon Gall in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Gettrup SIK's Torjus Solvoll played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xayvion Ageitos in the 90th minute of play. If Adolphe De Coster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gettrup SIK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
