FC Traktor Götz's Carl Gulatz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Beat Leutwyler in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by B68 Toftir's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Carl Gulatz was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Traktor Götz's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Connor Jaeniche heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 11 minutes into the match, FC Traktor Götz's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Goi came free, but Esra Breidert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the FC Traktor Götz defense, Lázaro Lizbeth kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Esra Breidert. The FC Traktor Götz fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Esra Breidert should have stopped the shot. Esra Breidert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arkādijs Žurka in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th match minute, B68 Toftir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Asserlindh to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, FC Traktor Götz's Beat Leutwyler threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Niko Wohlert, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience was convinced that Maximilian Obst's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Beat Leutwyler was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in the 26th minute of play forced FC Traktor Götz's goalkeeper Esra Breidert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Traktor Götz's Esra Breidert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lázaro Lizbeth in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in the 42nd minute of play forced FC Traktor Götz's goalkeeper Esra Breidert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The FC Traktor Götz fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when FC Traktor Götz's Maximilian Obst looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Lázaro Lizbeth's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Esra Breidert was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maximilian Obst to make the kick off. Evstati Katrandzhiev's late challenge caught a FC Traktor Götz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 53rd minute, Niko Wohlert made a precise shot to the right of Beat Leutwyler. B68 Toftir's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Beat Leutwyler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niko Wohlert in the 56th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maximilian Obst in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Beat Leutwyler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 62 minutes into the match, FC Traktor Götz's goalkeeper Esra Breidert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximino Goi. After some careless play in the B68 Toftir defense, Ralf Große Verspohl kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Beat Leutwyler. The B68 Toftir fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Beat Leutwyler should have stopped the shot. After 72 played minutes FC Traktor Götz got a freekick which was hit by Ralf Große Verspohl. Maximino Goi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Esra Breidert made a huge save. B68 Toftir made a substitution. Bengt-Arne Blomberg replaced Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. Maximino Goi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Esra Breidert made a huge save. Beat Leutwyler came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Traktor Götz's Niko Wohlert. But to his dismay, Niko Wohlert quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. B68 Toftir were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after FC Traktor Götz's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lázaro Lizbeth took the corner. FC Traktor Götz's Esra Breidert proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save FC Traktor Götz from getting a goal against them. In the 96th minute, Maximilian Obst left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Traktor Götz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. FC Traktor Götz's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
